To Make S'mores Hot Chocolate:
Place 1/2 cup of s'mores hot chocolate mix into a mug.
Add 1 cup (8 ounces) of hot water.
Stir gently (and carefully) to combine.
Top with whipped cream or other garnishes if desired.
Notes
We like our hot chocolate pretty "strong" - if you feel that 1/2 cup of the mix is too much, scale back to 1/3 or even 1/4 cup of mix per 1 cup of water.*If you would prefer not to use store-bought coffee creamer, you can make your own:Place and additional 2 cups of instant nonfat dry milk and 1 cup of powdered sugar into a food processor (or regular bowl if you don't have one). Melt 2 tablespoons of refined coconut oil in the microwave. Drizzle the melted coconut oil over the dry ingredients and pulse a few times with the food processor (or stir with a spoon) until combined. This should make about 3 cups with some leftover. If you'd like to make it a chocolate coffee creamer substitute, add 1/4 cup cocoa powder.
